Finance Graduate Programme

A strong finance function keeps us in good shape to deliver on our promises to clients around the world. So it’s no surprise that we need people with a flexible, can-do attitude. But that’s not all you’ll need to join us. We’ll also expect sound analytical skills, plus the confidence to communicate with people at every level.

In return you’ll be given plenty of support, as you drive your own training and development and study for a CIMA or ACCA qualification. We’ll also encourage you to build and enhance your personal and management skills alongside experienced managers, as you develop your experience of financial and management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.

Succeed in making it onto our three-year graduate programme, and you’ll experience a number of varied rotations that will give you an insight into different roles within our finance teams.

Whilst the majority of graduate placements are based in our European HQ in Aldershot, Hampshire you will also be required to spend time at other finance centres in the UK – and possibly abroad: you could be in Preston for three 3 months, understanding and helping to streamline the key transactional processes supporting our sales-cycle or travelling to Copenhagen to support our Nordics Finance team or to Prague to assist our newly created off-shoring activities. How about a six month assignment on the NHS account based in Solihull or the Royal Mail Group account in Chesterfield?

Each assignment aims to complement your professional studies and to build your knowledge gradually, giving you a solid understanding of accounting, finance and the CSC businesses, and so providing a springboard for a successful career in CSC. Previous alumni of our Graduate Scheme are now finance directors, managing and supporting large accounts within the UK and abroad.

A great attitude is the vital. So whilst a finance-related degree is not a pre-requisite, an aptitude for numbers and a willingness to grow and learn are. We’re not just looking for scorekeepers, but for enthusiastic, energetic professionals who want to develop into true business partners within the company to help generate real business growth and profitability. So, if you like a challenge and want to make a difference, come and talk to us.
