CSC’s corporate responsibility agenda is a philosophy that benefits not only our environment, but our business, our employees, their families and friends, and the wider community. We welcome policies and practices that care for staff and build on our 50-year heritage, working towards a sustainable future.
We’re always looking for new ways to support our employees in all aspects of their work. Mutual respect has enabled us to build trust into all areas of the company, understanding that geography, family life and external factors vary greatly between people.
As a result, managers work proactively, wherever possible, to find ways to help everyone become more effective and efficient in their roles. This can include flexible working and opportunities to work from home.
CSC Wellbeing Programme
Launched in January 2008, the CSC Wellbeing Programme was set up to encourage staff to adopt a healthier lifestyle through physical activity, healthy eating and a positive mental attitude.
Events include dial-in talks on healthy eating, building mental resiliency, overcoming sleep problems, and a walking programme – including lunchtime walking groups. Our regular health roadshows provide employees with the chance to have a free 10 minute health check, covering blood pressure, cholesterol levels, BMI, peak flow, and other key issues.
The Wellbeing Programme is supported by an Employee Assistance Programme (a free confidential help-line for employees and their families) and specialist occupational health support is on hand when needed.
Community
